After Hours 742 is hosted by Hypnotised and guest DJ Christian Patti

After Hours 742 on Scientific Sound Asia sees Hypnotised return for another edition of the long-running Progressive House series with Christian Patti. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform, connecting underground artists and listeners across the region and internationally.

Hypnotised is a DJ, producer and label head from Ghent, Belgium whose sets are built around atmosphere, gradual progression and layered melodic development. His connection with underground electronic music was shaped through early appearances at events including I Love Techno and 10 Days of Techno, experiences that helped form an approach favouring depth and controlled momentum over immediate impact.

That background eventually drew him towards the deeper and more melodic side of Progressive House. His selections give individual tracks room to develop, with extended transitions and carefully managed changes in energy creating continuity across longer sets.

After Hours, co-hosted with PatriZe, has become one of the principal outlets for that approach. The programme reaches listeners through TM Radio in the USA, XBeat across Europe, Cosmos Radio in Germany and Scientific Sound Asia, connecting the series with Progressive House audiences across several regions.

Hypnotised and PatriZe also present AH Digital Essentials on Proton Radio, where they showcase new material connected with the label and the wider progressive scene. Alongside that shared programme, Hypnotised hosts Energetic on Progressive Beats Radio, using his different broadcasts to introduce emerging producers alongside established artists.

Radio has therefore become closely connected with his wider activity as a selector, producer and label manager. Each platform gives him space to explore new music while maintaining the patient pacing, atmosphere and melodic focus that characterise his own DJ sets.

As co-founder and label manager of AH Digital, Hypnotised has helped develop an imprint centred on melodic, atmospheric and underground Progressive House. The label supports both established producers and newer names while maintaining a clear musical identity built around depth, movement and dancefloor function.

His own studio work follows many of the same principles. Rather than placing melody above rhythm, his productions use both together, allowing tension and emotional detail to develop within arrangements designed to maintain steady forward movement.

Recent work with PatriZe includes their remix of Weird Things on AH Digital. The collaboration combines flowing melodic elements with restrained tension and measured energy, reflecting the musical relationship the pair have developed through production, radio and label activity.

Hypnotised has also reinterpreted Blissing for SINCITY, taking his Progressive House approach into another label environment. His work on Classico with Selected Grooves for OLD SQL Recordings further demonstrates an interest in careful arrangement and gradual progression.

A collaborative remix with Frank Savio of The Master of Time and Thoughts for COMET Records adds another direction to his recent output. Across these projects, emotional depth and melodic movement remain closely connected with rhythmic structure rather than appearing as decorative elements around it.

That same balance carries directly into his work on After Hours. Longer transitions, controlled pacing and a preference for deeper records allow each first-hour session to develop steadily while maintaining the underground Progressive House identity associated with the programme.

Christian Patti is an Italian DJ and producer whose musical direction moves through Progressive House, Melodic House and Techno, Techno and Indie Dance. His interest in electronic music began at an early age and developed into an approach centred on the relationship between rhythm, atmosphere and melodic detail.

His production style has continued to evolve rather than remaining fixed to one branch of electronic music. Progressive structures form an important part of his catalogue, while stronger Techno elements, melodic passages and more club-focused arrangements allow his releases and DJ sets to move between different levels of intensity.

Christian has performed at clubs and festivals across Italy and other parts of Europe, including appearances in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Germany and the Netherlands. His touring has also extended to Thailand, giving his music a presence beyond the European circuit.

His live sets are built around energy and gradual movement, combining driving rhythms with more atmospheric passages as the performance develops. That flexibility allows him to move naturally between Progressive House, Melodic House and Techno and more forceful electronic material.

His 2026 catalogue has included Echoes of the Universe and Magnetic Fields through AH Digital Compilations, both firmly rooted in Progressive House. Space Station on Flower Power explored Melodic House and Techno, while Cosmic Disco on Natura Viva In The Mix continued that melodic direction with a more expansive electronic character.

Keep On Moving, released through Kimbo Records in July, brought a more direct House Music approach into his recent output. These releases demonstrate the range within Christian Patti's work while maintaining the melodic development and club functionality that connect the different styles.

His next major release is the See You Again EP, scheduled for 1 September 2026 through AH Digital. The two-track Progressive House release features See You Again and Parallel Memories, both running at 122 BPM and continuing his relationship with the label.

The EP strengthens Christian Patti's connection with AH Digital beyond individual compilation appearances and places his music directly within the label's core Progressive House catalogue. His guest appearance on After Hours arrives alongside that forthcoming release, connecting his current production work with a radio series closely associated with the same underground progressive scene.

DJ Hypnotised opens the first hour of After Hours 742 with Afetim's "Atmosphere" and Borshulyak's "Moonwake", establishing a patient Progressive House flow built around layered melodies and gradually developing tension. Byhon's remix of Rauschhaus and Cary Crank's "Apogee" leads into Hypnotised's own "Between The Echoes", giving the opening section a personal focal point while maintaining its deep, controlled direction.

Redspace and DJ Meoz continue with "Black Mesa" before D-MICE's remix of "Uranus" and Yohai Mor's "The Itzkoim" keep the hour moving through darker textures and measured rhythmic shifts. Casnik's remix of Sashy and NIQLA, followed by the Sam Sick and Antonio Farhy remix of Liza Meier and O-Band's take on Juan Arcucci, carries DJ Hypnotised's section towards a consistent progressive finish without sacrificing its gradual build.

Christian Patti begins the second hour with Agustin Portaro's "Divine Ascension" before Stefan Obermaier's "Astra" introduces the warmer, more organic movement of Organic House. Kris Dur and Wru's "Abstract Rush", Emi Galvan's "Mily" and Ruben Karapetyan's "The Ways" then bring the focus back towards deeper progressive territory, combining melodic detail with a steady club pulse.

Taleman's "Been A While" provides a second organic-house interlude before Cami'L, Gareth 2Dark and Max Wexem steadily rebuild the pressure through the latter part of the hour. DAVI's "It Disappeared Among The Trees" on Bedrock Records leads into Brian Cid's remix of Hernan Cattaneo and Marc Romboy's "The Insanity Of Infinity", closing Episode 742 with a spacious and assured final run rooted in progressive movement.

Please set a reminder for the live house music radio show scheduled for Monday, August 24th, 2026, from 10:00 PM to midnight Indochina Time (ICT). If you're unable to listen live, the replay will be accessible on Friday from 10:00 AM to noon (ICT).
