Episode 699 of After Hours presents a deep and immersive exploration of Progressive House, curated by Belgian DJ and producer PatriZe, with a guest mix by Adrian Y. Broadcast on Scientific Sound Asia, a Vietnam-based electronic music station, promoter and agency, the series continues to unite underground artists across Asia and beyond.

Now based in Thailand, PatriZe has established himself as a leading name in the global Progressive House community. Drawing from his early roots in Trance and Techno, his sound has evolved into an emotive blend of melodic flow and atmospheric depth, characterised by seamless transitions and a strong sense of storytelling throughout his sets.

His international credentials include performances across Europe and Southeast Asia, with a breakthrough moment in 2010 when he performed alongside Guy J and Pole Folder. That same year, his victory at the Night Museum DJ Competition brought him wider recognition and marked a turning point in his career.

In 2015, PatriZe co-founded AH Digital with long-time collaborator Hypnotised. Their debut release Inhabitants of Another Realm reached the Beatport Top 20 and featured a remix by Rui Da Silva. Since then, the label has become a respected pillar of the Progressive House community, consistently supporting emerging artists and achieving global chart success.

Beyond his work as a DJ, PatriZe continues to expand his production catalogue. Recent releases include the 2025 remix of The Loon (Matías Delóngaro Remix) on AH Digital, which showcases his latest focus on refined melodic Progressive House. He remains committed to pushing the genre forward while maintaining its emotional centre.

Currently, PatriZe holds residencies at Beachspot and Thai Lounge & Terrace in Pattaya, while also featuring regularly on Frisky Radio’s Rising Sun and Proton Radio’s AH Digital Essentials. Through his After Hours series, he remains dedicated to showcasing new voices and exploring the deeper dimensions of Progressive House for audiences around the world.

Adrian Y, born and raised in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Mexico, began his professional DJ career in 1999. In 2004, he moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he started performing internationally in nightclubs, bars, and festivals.

It wasn’t long before he was recognised as one of the top DJs in the Twin Cities, establishing a reputation for his distinctive sound and energetic performances. Now a resident DJ at Uptown Minneapolis, Adrian continues to perform internationally, appearing at venues and events across the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Greece, Turkey, and Ibiza.

His sets are known for their seamless flow and immersive energy, combining deep, emotive progression with a focus on groove and atmosphere. Specialising in Progressive House and Organic House, Adrian brings a refined musical understanding to every performance, keeping the energy high and the dancefloor engaged throughout his sets.

His production work reflects the same precision and passion that he brings to every aspect of his craft. Each track is meticulously crafted, showcasing not only technical skill but also a deep emotional resonance that connects with listeners on multiple levels. He has successfully established himself within the electronic music scene, with releases on respected labels such as Global Underground, Whole Story, Dynamic Musik, and Candy Flip.

His recent track “Bones,” released on Whole Story Records, marked a major milestone in his career. The release gained widespread attention after being featured by Danny Tenaglia on his latest Global Underground compilation, further cementing Adrian Y’s place among the rising names in the international Progressive House scene.

PatriZe opens the first hour of After Hours 699 with LEM (IT)’s Bad Trip (Rich Trelo Remix), setting a deep and hypnotic atmosphere that unfolds with fluid precision. Tracks such as Previously by Fernando Terreno and Lost in Soul by Agustin Bertolotti enrich the early mood with layered melodic warmth. Juan Barrera’s Subconscious Game (Emma Lemus Remix) and Echo Bloom by FAERO & Gonzalo Cotroneo evolve the mix into a steady, emotive flow.

The energy lifts subtly as Odeysse by Samuel (LK) and Dylan Deck & DEGG’s Cloud 9 (Matias Ocaño Remix) infuse depth with restrained drive. Void Pulse by FAERO & Gonzalo Cotroneo and Bertolotti’s Dockers reinforce the hypnotic rhythm before Gastón Rodriguez’s Night Owl closes the hour with late-night progressive colour.

In the second hour, Adrian Y transitions seamlessly with The Loon (Matias Delongaro Remix), leading into Zylon & Jadon Fonka’s Where We Began, both drenched in melodic finesse.
