As a youngster, he took musical influence from acts such as Soul II Soul, Mood II Swing, Masters at Work and 90s R&B, whilst reaching for the dubbier side of House and Garage
with artists such as Dem 2, El-B and Steve Gurley and dipping into Drum and Bass and early Dubstep when it suited him.
In the closing stretch, selections like Walking With Elephants and Feeling You introduce more emotive colour, lifting the mood without losing the intimate direction of the mix. The finale with Mr V’s H.O.U.S.E offers a confident return to classic House spirit, completing an hour shaped by expressive choices and thoughtful progression.
