TENET, the Italian DJ and production duo, return to Scientific Sound Asia with another edition of their weekly radio show. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform with listeners across the region and internationally.
TENET was created as a collaborative project allowing the two artists to combine their experience as DJs and producers within a single musical identity. Their sound moves through Progressive House, Afro House, Melodic House and Techno, Deep House and more driving electronic club music.
The project is built around carefully structured selections that balance melody, rhythm and dancefloor energy. Rather than remaining fixed to one subgenre, TENET use the contrast between deeper material, progressive development and stronger club records to shape both their radio programmes and live performances.
TENET also remain active within Italy's electronic music scene while performing and broadcasting internationally. Both together and individually, they have shared line-ups with artists including Kenny Carpenter, The Cube Guys, Joe T Vannelli, Subsonica, Tommy Vee and Auralism.
Their production catalogue has expanded considerably during 2026, beginning with Go, a collaboration with Cafe De Anatolia released through Cafe De Anatolia REC. in January. The track explored Melodic House and Techno, while Prospects with J3brael and the later Opera and I Feel Much Better returned the project towards Progressive House.
Other releases have demonstrated a broader range across contemporary House Music and electronic production. My Love appeared through Deep Elite as a Deep House track, Arepo moved into Peak Time Techno, and Mithril with J3brael combined a stronger club pulse with melodic production through WyldCard.
Afro House has also become increasingly visible within TENET's recent work through Wonderland on Deep Elite, Ocean on YHV Records and Sunset on MUMI Records. Their August release The Moon on Nikawyi Records returned to Progressive House, showing how the duo continue to move between rhythmic Afro-influenced material and more melodic, progressive structures.
TENET's collaborative work has expanded beyond their usual House and Techno framework as well, including a remix of GISHIN's Afterglow with BrayDenim and a reworking of Meguru's Short Black Hair alongside Maxx and Luckyman. Their continuing output across different labels and genres keeps the project evolving while their Scientific Sound Asia radio show provides a regular platform for the underground electronic music influencing that production work.
The first hour of TENET Episode 57 opens with Dennis Cruz's "Snake Charmer", bringing an Organic House foundation before the Riviiiera and Rhum G edit of El Hombre and Zhu's "Faded Adventures" turns towards Afro House. The Deepshakerz, Nhan Solo and DiVine keep that percussive emphasis alive with "Hey Now!" before ItaloBros sharpen the groove through the tighter rhythmic drive of Tech House.
Adriatique and The Element MT shift the set into Progressive House with "The Echo", opening the door to a more melodic and expansive middle passage. Anyma and Delilah Montagu's "After Love", The Element MT's remix of Avira and Maxim Lany, and Ed Lopes with Monic then form a sustained run of Melodic House and Techno built around broad synth work, emotional lift and controlled club momentum.
Meduza and Genesi's "Ecstasy" brings a more direct Dance Music energy into the later stages, giving the hour its clearest crossover moment after the deeper melodic material. Kaiserdisco responds with "In The Music" on Drumcode, pushing firmly into Peak Time Techno and increasing the pressure with a more driving, functional approach.
Above & Beyond close the first hour with "Blue Monday", bringing a Trance and Psytrance reference into a set that has steadily widened from organic and Afro-influenced house towards larger melodic and peak-time forms. The progression gives this section of Episode 57 a clear upward curve, moving from percussion-led grooves through progressive and melodic material before ending with techno force and main-floor trance energy.
