Bicycle Corporation is the Italian duo formed by Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. Their catalogue includes more than fifty productions and remixes spanning Deep House, Tech House, French House, melodic electronic music and Techno.
Marco began his career in Turin during the early 1990s, working with the Urban People collective as a DJ, promoter and event organiser. After establishing himself across Italy, he relocated to Sharm el-Sheikh and began a residency with the internationally recognised Pacha brand.
That residency became an important step in expanding Marco's career beyond the Italian club circuit. His performances and productions led to further international bookings, and over the years he has shared line-ups with artists including David Morales, Justin Berkmann, Roger Sanchez, Sander Kleinenberg, Harry Romero and Ralph Falcon.
Stefano grew up in Turin and showed a strong interest in music from an early age, studying classical piano, percussion and drums. His wider influences included Chopin and West African djembe, giving him a broad rhythmic and melodic foundation before electronic production became his main focus.
As a teenager, Stefano became increasingly fascinated by DJ culture and the electronic music that was still difficult to hear on mainstream Italian radio during the 1990s. That interest encouraged him to study production and develop the technical skills that would later become central to Bicycle Corporation.
When Stefano met Marco, the pair discovered a shared understanding of underground electronic music and began working together. Marco's experience on the dancefloor and Stefano's studio background gave the project room to move between deeper, melodic and more driving club material.
Across numerous labels and releases, Bicycle Corporation have maintained a steady output while continuing to develop new ideas together. Their partnership reflects a long-term interest in underground electronic music without restricting the project to one narrow style.
The duo have also revisited material from the earlier stages of their catalogue and made selected productions available through their Bandcamp page. This gives listeners access to older work while Marco and Stefano continue developing new releases, collaborations and radio episodes.
Electronic Roots reflects the wider musical knowledge behind Bicycle Corporation rather than focusing only on their own productions. Episode 75 continues that approach with guest DJ Marcy, adding another perspective to the series while maintaining its connection with underground electronic music across Asia and beyond.

This week's guest DJ is Marcy, a respected selector from Okinawa, Japan with more than twenty-five years of experience behind the decks. His career has developed through club residencies, international appearances and a broad musical approach shaped by House, Nu Disco, Minimal, Techno, Organic House and Progressive House.
Marcy began DJing as a teenager after getting his first set of turntables and practising from his bedroom. Determined to broaden his experience and creativity, he later moved to New York, where exposure to a different club culture helped deepen his understanding of music and DJ performance.
After returning from the United States, his career gained momentum in Tokyo before expanding further across Asia. Regular travel and bookings introduced him to a range of venues and audiences, helping him develop a flexible style capable of adapting to different dancefloors.
His journey also took him to Ibiza, where he experienced the island's club culture first-hand before eventually returning to his home city of Okinawa. Across the years, he has shared the decks with artists including Gerald Mitchell, Frank Muller, Hiroshi Watanabe a.k.a. Kaito, Paul Murphy and Phil Mison.
Marcy's sets move comfortably between different areas of underground electronic music rather than remaining tied to one style. House, Nu Disco, Minimal and Techno all feature in his wider selections, with smooth transitions and careful pacing allowing him to maintain a consistent groove across longer sessions.
He currently holds a residency at bar b.p.m. in Okinawa, where he continues to perform regularly. His recorded work and DJ activity can also be followed through his Instagram, documenting appearances and musical activity beyond his home city.
Recent years have also seen Marcy expand his international activity through appearances in Vietnam and Thailand. These bookings have strengthened his connection with the wider Asian electronic music community while giving him further opportunities to present his music outside Japan.
For this guest session, Marcy moves into a blend of Organic House and Progressive House. The combination reflects the deeper and more melodic side of his musical identity while retaining the controlled flow and dancefloor awareness developed across more than two decades of DJing.

Sebastien Leger's "Extassy" marks one of the set's most expansive moments, followed by Simon Vuarambon's retouch of "3rd Of July" and Greenage's "Tear Drop On Fire" as Marcy maintains the long-form progression rather than making abrupt stylistic changes.
