Bicycle Corporation is the Italian duo formed by Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, better known as 6884. Together they have built a catalogue of more than fifty productions and remixes spanning Deep House, Tech House, French House, melodic electronic music and Techno.
Marco began his career in Turin during the early 1990s, becoming involved with the Urban People collective as a DJ, promoter and event organiser. His growing reputation across Italy eventually led to international bookings and established a career that extended well beyond his home country.
Over the years, Marco has performed across Europe, Asia and other parts of the international club circuit. His experience behind the decks has given him a broad musical approach shaped by House, Techno, Disco and other areas of underground electronic music.
Stefano grew up in Turin and showed a strong interest in music from an early age, studying classical piano, percussion and drums. His wider influences included Chopin and West African djembe, giving him a broad rhythmic and melodic foundation before electronic music became his main focus.
As a teenager, Stefano became increasingly fascinated by DJ culture and the electronic music that was still difficult to hear on mainstream Italian radio during the 1990s. That interest encouraged him to study production and develop the technical skills that would later become central to Bicycle Corporation.
When Stefano met Marco, the pair discovered a shared understanding of underground electronic music and began working together. Marco's experience as a DJ and Stefano's studio background allowed the project to move naturally between deeper, melodic and more driving club material.
Bicycle Corporation have maintained a steady output across numerous releases while continuing to develop new ideas together. Their partnership leaves room for the different influences each member brings while retaining a recognisable approach to underground electronic music.
The duo have also revisited material from the earlier stages of their catalogue and made selected productions available through their Bandcamp page. This gives listeners access to older work while Marco and Stefano continue with new productions, collaborations and radio projects.
Foundations gives Bicycle Corporation space to explore the records, artists and styles that influenced their development beyond their own productions. Episode 57 continues that idea with DJ Psycho-UK, whose background in Hip Hop, Acid House, Hardcore, Jungle, Drum and Bass and underground rave culture brings another distinct perspective to the series.

This week's guest is DJ Psycho-UK, an East London DJ whose background spans Hip Hop turntablism, Drum and Bass, House and a wider range of underground electronic music. He began DJing at the age of fourteen and has remained connected with record collecting, mixing and club culture ever since.
Growing up during the Golden Age of Hip Hop and the emergence of Acid House, Hardcore and Techno gave him a broad musical foundation. Influences include Public Enemy, KRS-One, Run-DMC, DJ Hype, Carl Cox, Mickey Finn, A Guy Called Gerald, Leftfield, Portishead and Massive Attack.
DJ Psycho-UK developed his early experience through London's underground squat-party and rave culture during the 1990s. Connections with the Production House Records circle brought him into contact with artists including DMS, The House Crew and X-Static while Hardcore and Jungle were developing rapidly around the capital.
Those surroundings shaped a style built around heavy bass, energetic rhythms and groove rather than one fixed genre. Hip Hop, Acid House, Hardcore, Jungle, Drum and Bass and House all became part of a collection informed by London's raw club and pirate-radio culture.
His growing reputation led to regular appearances on London pirate stations including AXE FM and Fantasy FM. He also performed at venues including Scala, Bagley's Film Studios, 491 Gallery, 291 Gallery and 333 during a period when independent club culture and underground radio remained closely connected.
His DJ activity later extended well beyond the United Kingdom, with performances in the West Indies, Australia and Vietnam. In Vietnam he has appeared at venues including Piu Piu, Basement, Indika, Cargo Remote, Pogo Beach Club, Dragon Beach, The Lab and other underground spaces.
Recorded examples of his broader approach can be heard through DJ Psycho-UK on Mixcloud. His sets can move between bass-heavy electronic music, classic Hip Hop influences, House and more eclectic selections according to the setting rather than following a rigid format.
After becoming based in Ho Chi Minh City, DJ Psycho-UK founded Scientific Sound Asia in 2013 as a DJ agency, promotions and event-management project. The organisation subsequently expanded into an international underground electronic music platform incorporating artist representation, events, music news and its own radio station.
Through Scientific Sound Asia, he has been involved in bringing international DJs and live acts to Vietnam and the wider Southeast Asian region. His current DJ agency profile documents the connection between his early East London background and his later activity as a DJ, promoter and organiser in Asia.
For his appearance on Foundations, DJ Psycho-UK moves away from concentrating on one period of his career and instead draws from the wider music that has shaped him as a selector. The programme includes Indie Dance, Melodic House, Progressive House, Minimal House, Tech House and House, presenting another side of a collection developed across several decades of underground music.
DJ Psycho-UK opens Bicycle Corporation Foundations 57 with Redspace and ISMAIL.M's "Cloud", easing into a melodic, atmospheric introduction before Soulmade's "Uncertain" establishes a clearer Progressive House direction. Redspace returns through his remix of Maze 28's "Sol", while Ivan Herrezuelo, DJ Andy de Gage and Mistol Team keep the early sequence moving between deeper grooves and restrained melodic tension.
The Redspace remix of Same Vibe and Monostone's "Atlantis" continues that progressive thread before Matteo Marani's Tirrenia Vibe remix of "Go Tomorrow" begins shifting the set towards a more direct House Music pulse. Brotech's "Stand Up And Dance" brings the firmer low-end movement of Tech House, followed by Suzee X and Dan Seaman and the increasingly club-focused selections from Odeum, Reshape and Matthias Leisegang.
The middle and later sections tighten further as "In The Trap", "Take Me To The Dancefloor" and "This Is Perfect" move through stripped-back rhythms that sit comfortably beside Minimal House and tech-house influences. Drew Moreland and Kai Moreland continue the groove before Disco Ball'z introduces a more overt disco-house flavour with "Fun For Jack", giving the mix a brighter lift without breaking its underground club focus.
KRS Two, Chad Lock with Matt Vandenberg and the original version of Matteo Marani's "Go Tomorrow" carry that house-led momentum into the final run, before Tom Junior, Paul Adam and Erick Khalifa bring the episode to a direct dancefloor finish. Across the full selection, DJ Psycho-UK moves between progressive, melodic, minimal and tech-driven house in the eclectic style associated with his Foundations appearances, balancing deeper material with funkier and more immediate club records.
