Italian producer and DJ INVE presents DJ INVE Episode 20 on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, promoter and music-news platform serving Asia and listeners worldwide.
INVE is an Italian DJ and producer from Valenza, Italy. His music is distinguished by house, deep, jackin and nu-disco sounds, with influences from tech and progressive house.
His DJ sets range from sophisticated club house to deep electronic sounds. With producer Diego Forsinetti, he formed the duo Inve & Forsi, whose debut single Feel and Mazar received critical acclaim.
Their productions have appeared on labels including Emotive Vibes in Copenhagen, Denmark, and G-Records in Milan. INVE has also made two remixes for the German duo B.Infinite vs Chris Cowley and launched the international electronic project Crush Your Head with N.D. Anderson, Zinner & Orffee, Michael Kruse, and B.Infinite & Chris Cowley.
Further releases include La La La on miniMarket, Fired on Oryx, and a remix of Agent 808 by Chris Cowley, Steve S and Decibel Rockerz featuring Denyse LePage. His official 2019 remix of House Of Glass's Disco Down, released through Ocean Trax, reached number 28 on the Traxsource House chart.
Other singles reached number 20 on the Techno Traxsource chart. At the time of publication, Inve & Forsi's latest releases included remixes with jackin house producer FederFunk.
At that time, INVE had released Hoy, a project that reached number 20 on the Techno Traxsource chart, alongside Right Back for Total Freedom. He and Forsi had reunited for No One Else on Mumi, Love on Onako, and Saved My Life on Turtle Wax.
With Andrea Mirgone, INVE started a melodic and progressive house initiative featuring Surface In The Air on Rounded, Beyond on Surbeats, and Constellation on Marktek. Their work has also achieved success on Traxsource, a portal used by DJs worldwide.
DJ INVE Episode 20's progressive house opening begins with Wayward Brothers and Airsand's Kak Nikogda on Exx Muzik before deadmau5's Tinlicker remix of Luxuria (OV) introduces melodic house and techno. Stan Kolev's Satchitananda on Outta Limits then joins Sebastian Sellares' Nocturne on Meanwhile, keeping the early section focused and melodic.
Forerunners' Fear Is the Mind Killer on Sudbeat Music and Sound Quelle and Jackarta's Froggy on Colorize (Enhanced) extend the progressive house thread. Andrea Mirgone and INVE's Constellation on Marktek Records brings in peak time techno energy without breaking the programme's melodic focus.
Wassu's Revelations on Seven Villas moves into deep house, followed by Standerwick's Apricus from Armada Music Albums and its main-floor trance character. Rich Vom Dorf's Since You Left Me on Tächno and Recondite's Secluded on Afterlife Records return the mix to melodic house and techno.
Xinobi featuring Vaarwell's Steady and Space Motion, Kevin McKay and Frank O'Moiraghi's Feel My Body sit between Recondite's selection and the next progressive passage. Morttagua's The 8th Sense on Timeless Moment and Forty Cats' GMJ & Matter remix of Ledokol on Mango Alley bring the set back towards progressive house.
Yigit Karakas and Batikan Tanrikulu's Silent Room on Sibourne revisits deep house before Makanan's Ride the Storm on Monday Social Music restores the melodic house and techno tone. The programme then moves through ANMA and Aves Volare's Sean & Dee remix of Storm before its final run.
VNTM's Deceiving Tendencies on Spectrum (NL) leads to Tiefstone's Protective on Nightmare Unlimited, both holding to melodic house and techno. ARTBAT's Upperground on Diynamic closes Episode 20 with the emotive melodies and rhythmic intensity established at its outset.
