6047, read as 60:47, is a DJ and producer from Los Angeles, California. Of Vietnamese origin, he has a close affinity with California’s musical culture.

His electronic releases span several genres and formats, with each bearing his own production approach. Across an extensive discography, he has worked with a range of labels to share this music internationally.

Over a 20-year career, 60:47 has made more than 800 tracks and remixes for different formats and labels. His catalogue brings cultural influences into contact with electronic rhythms and a detailed studio practice.

Tracks and remixes document the development of his musical work without separating releases from the wider story behind them. New releases add to a body of work defined by sustained creative output and a commitment to electronic music.

His production work has led to guest appearances on international radio stations around the world. Recognition for those releases has also supported his reputation as a producer and DJ.

His DJ sets focus on Progressive music, breaks and precise beat matching, with attention to intricate detail. He combines genres in a way that keeps the set active while allowing individual tracks room to develop.

At the time of publication, 60:47 was involved in collaborative projects with artists from Scientific Sound Asia. That collaborative work reached online radio stations and podcasts internationally, alongside his own production activity.

For this edition of Elektronik Tranzmissionz, 6047 draws from the catalogues of Traum Schallplatten and Last Night On Earth. The selection includes Fairmont, Dominik Eulberg, Minilogue, Gabriel Ananda, Sasha, Henry Saiz, Yotto and Radio Slave, moving between house-rooted material and Techno.

The programme opens with Fairmont’s Down The Rabbit Hole on Traum Schallplatten, followed by Bukaddor & Fishbeck’s Decade and Moonbeam’s You Can Hear Them on the same label. Jesse Somfay’s The Days Of Our Youth Ended With Broken Bottles, in the Dominik Eulberg & Riley Reinhold remix, extends the opening run of Peak Time Techno.

Dominik Eulberg’s Es Klebt Noch Morgentau In Deinem Haar follows with Process’ City-Zen, both from Traum Schallplatten. Thomas Brinkmann’s Aleks In Love then holds the techno focus before Super Flu’s Sunset Handjob adds another label selection.

Minilogue’s Carnival and Gabriel Ananda’s Lila Pause complete the Traum Schallplatten material. Their melodic detail and restrained rhythmic approach bring the first section to a close through deeper techno elements.

Kate Simko and Tevo Howard’s Welcome To PolyRythmic, remixed by Frankey & Sandrino for Last Night On Earth, opens the second half. Its Deep House character makes a measured contrast with the preceding Traum Schallplatten selections.

Rhythm Cult’s Brutal, in Deadbeat’s remix for Last Night On Earth, restores a more direct techno emphasis. EJECA’s HiRollin, remixed by Dubspeeka, then introduces Melodic House and Techno into the programme’s later passages.

Henry Saiz’s I Can Feel It Coming, in VONDA7’s remix, leads to Sasha’s Smokemonk in Yotto’s version, both on Last Night On Earth. Max Cooper featuring Get People’s Careless, remixed by Locked Groove, keeps the label sequence moving without interrupting its melodic direction.

Sasha’s Singularity, remixed by Fur Coat, gives way to ThermalBear’s U Love in the John Monkman remix. Sasha featuring Krister Linder’s Cut Me Down, remixed by Radio Slave for Last Night On Earth, closes the programme with the same patient, club-focused approach heard across the set.
