After Hours, hosted by PatriZe, returns with another edition on Scientific Sound Asia, featuring two hours of underground electronic music from the host and a guest DJ Nacho Quaglini. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform, connecting regional and international artists with listeners worldwide.
The programme is centred on Progressive House while regularly extending into deeper, melodic and Techno-influenced areas of electronic music. Its format combines PatriZe’s first-hour selection with a second-hour guest set from DJs and producers connected with the international underground.
PatriZe is a Belgian DJ and producer now based in Thailand whose musical background began with the harder sounds of Trance and Techno. Over time, his direction shifted towards the deeper and more melodic structures of Progressive House.
An important point in his development came in 2010 through the Night Museum DJ competition in France. Winning the competition gave him the opportunity to open for Guy J and also brought him into contact with Pole Folder, further strengthening his connection with the Progressive House scene.
His DJing is built around careful track selection, gradual progression and melodic detail rather than abrupt changes in direction. Tech-influenced rhythms often sit beneath the deeper and more atmospheric elements that have become central to his sets.
From Thailand, he has developed both After Hours and Foundations as regular platforms for underground Progressive House. The programmes have also allowed him to introduce guest DJs and producers from different countries while maintaining a consistent connection with the genre’s international scene.
In April 2015, he co-founded AH Digital with fellow Belgian DJ and producer Hypnotised. The label became an important outlet for their own productions as well as releases from other artists working across Progressive House and related styles.
Their early collaboration People from the Otherworld became one of the project’s notable releases, reaching number four in Beatport’s Progressive House chart and also entering its Techno and Tech House rankings. The title track was later remixed by Rui Da Silva, adding another established name to the release.
AH Digital has remained closely connected with the co-host and the After Hours series, bringing together label releases, radio support and guest appearances from producers within the wider Progressive community. This relationship gives the programme a direct link with the music being produced and released across the underground scene.
He has continued to work as a DJ, producer and label operator while supporting new material through his radio programmes and AH Digital. His output reflects the same preference for deeper Progressive House, melodic development and measured pacing that defines his approach behind the decks.
Each edition of After Hours gives him space to establish the musical direction during the opening hour before handing the programme to a guest for the second. The format keeps the series connected with both his own selections and a wider network of DJs and producers working across the underground community.

Guest DJ Nacho Quaglini (second hour)
This edition’s guest DJ is Nacho Quaglini, a DJ and producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina, whose work is centred on Progressive House. His activity as both a producer and selector has connected him with labels including AH Digital, 3rd Avenue, Future Avenue, Forward Music and Ambious Records.
One of his early notable releases was Phases, issued through 3rd Avenue in 2020 before later appearing on Best of 3rd Avenue | Fall 2020 and Best of 2020. The track also returned through Forward Music’s Argentina Avenue #04, extending its presence beyond the original release.
During the same period, Nacho contributed a remix of Evernaya’s Dusk for Future Avenue, bringing his interpretation into the label’s Progressive House catalogue. That remix later appeared again on the 1 Year Future Avenue compilation, reflecting its continuing connection with the label.
His work with AH Digital included a remix of VegaZ SL’s Rivendell, first released in 2020 and later included on the label’s AH Digital 6 Years compilation. The release linked Nacho directly with the wider network of Progressive House producers surrounding AH Digital and After Hours.
Nacho also worked beyond Progressive House through his remix of Fluida’s Asuba, released through Ambious Records in 2021 and later appearing through Nothing But. Classified as Organic House, the remix showed another side of his production while keeping the measured pacing and melodic structure found across much of his catalogue.
Further remix activity included Evernaya’s Dusk for Forward Music’s The 100, Vol. 1, alongside continued appearances across compilations and label collections. His catalogue during this period reflects a producer building steadily through original material, remixes and repeated support from labels working within Progressive and Organic House.
For his appearance on After Hours, Nacho Quaglini brings that production background into the second hour of the programme. His connection with AH Digital and the wider Progressive House scene makes the guest set a natural extension of the musical direction established by PatriZe in the opening hour.
PatriZe opens the first hour of After Hours 427 with RIGOONI's remix of Lerr's Mornings, establishing a patient Progressive House direction built around melodic movement and long-form transitions. After Burn's remix of Adelphos and Nik Nazarov's Magdalena continue that measured start before Andre Moret's treatment of Leo Perez and Dhany G adds further depth to the sequence.
Dmitry Molosh's remix of Dowden and Adrian Roman's White Rain strengthens the middle of the hour with a broader, more driving progressive feel, while TEELCO's remix of de Graaf keeps the momentum controlled and atmospheric. Da Luka, Lucas Rossi and Golan Zocher then carry the first hour towards its close, with Weird Sounding Dude and GMJ maintaining the emphasis on detail, restraint and steady development.
Nacho Quaglini's second hour begins in Deep House territory through Marian, Nopi and Fulltone, giving the programme a warmer and more spacious reset after PatriZe's more direct progressive opening. Armen Miran's Reborn in the Volen Sentir Sunset Mix then introduces Organic House, followed by Volen Sentir's remix of Nacho Varela, Cruz Vittor and Nauel's Underworld.
Volen Sentir remain central as The Great Escape brings the second hour back towards progressive movement, while Carl Jurgens and Niso add a Melodic House and Techno turn with the Praveen Achary vocal edition of Skyscrapers. Jelly For The Babies then restores the Progressive House thread with Luna, keeping the closing stages smooth and expansive rather than sharply increasing the pressure.
Santo Adriano's reinterpretation of Tears for Fears' Shout closes the episode with a familiar vocal reference reshaped for the progressive setting. Across After Hours 427, PatriZe and Nacho Quaglini connect Progressive House with deeper and more organic material, creating two contrasting hours that remain closely linked through melody, atmosphere and gradual development.
