Graham Gold has released the playlist for Esta La Musica on Scientific Sound Asia, originally broadcast on Saturday 3 October 2020. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news outlet with a worldwide following.
Graham’s show takes its name from the tattoo on his right arm, acquired while DJing in Los Angeles during the late 1990s. After leaving Kiss 100 and relocating to Southeast Asia, he introduced Esta La Musica as a weekly show connected to his current club and radio activity.
His profile in electronic music first grew through weekly broadcasts on London’s Kiss 100. He is also closely associated with Peach, the London club brand that became one of the defining platforms in his wider DJ career.
During his early DJ years, Graham made his name in London through a decade-long residency at Gulliver’s Club in Mayfair. Performing six nights a week gave him extensive experience with club audiences and helped establish his standing within the capital’s nightlife culture.
His route into music began at the age of 17, when his interest in Afrocentric music led him to launch The Funky Road Show with Duncan Uren. The mobile disco became a recognised name in London’s West End and provided an early foundation for his later club and radio work.
By the age of 18, Graham was playing Black music five nights a week across the UK capital. This led to regular slots on London pirate radio during the 1980s, where his selections moved through Reggae, Soul, Disco and Jazz Funk.

He later joined the Radio London Soul Night Out team and hosted a weekly Soul show on Capital FM. That work earned him the station’s Broadcaster of the Year award in 1985.
Graham has been affiliated with Kiss FM since its early London period, gaining global recognition through the reach of his weekly broadcasts. He spent eight years in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs poll and was later included in Dash’s Most Popular DJs in the World of All Time.

The episode features music from Sade, Airwave, CJ Art, Katrin Souza, Space Motion, Echo Babylon, The Journey, Darksidevinyl, Ben Böhmer, Ray Mono, Darius Syrossian and DM Theory.
Sade opens with No Ordinary Love in the Ranj Kaler Rework, placing the programme inside Deep House. El Bastardo then moves the episode into Melodic House and Techno with Quicksound on Customized Culture.
Airwave’s Those Silent Hills on JOOF introduces a Trance entry before CJ Art brings the show into Progressive House with Metaphysica in the Nacres remix. Katrin Souza follows with Lost Sun in the Nik Nazarov remix on Inu, keeping the early section in progressive territory.
Space Motion returns the set to Melodic House and Techno with Playground on Space Motion. Echo Babylon then adds Unsung Heroes in the NOIYSE PROJECT remix on Another Life, keeping the middle section focused on Progressive House.
Nick Hook and Majic Eye bring Femme Fatale on Jeepers, returning the programme to Deep House. The Journey then follows with Secrets on Ugenius, adding another Progressive House entry before the tracklist shifts into Indie Dance.
Anis Hachemi’s Disco Space on Asymmetric and Peredel’s Runo on UFO move the late section through Indie Dance. Darksidevinyl and Cadillac Express then return the episode to Melodic House and Techno with Planet X on Beatfreak.
Peter Groskreutz’s The Wreck on Alpaka introduces Deep Tech House before Ben Böhmer adds Motherboard on Anjunadeep. Ray Mono then keeps the deeper tech rhythm in place with What Would You Do in the Darius Syrossian remix on Moan.
DM Theory’s Get Used To on IbogaTech brings a Psytrance entry into the closing stretch. Tapeout closes Esta La Musica 369 with Play Again on Humatron, returning the final track to Tech House.
