Graham Gold has made public the playlist for this edition of Esta La Musica on Scientific Sound Asia, originally aired on Saturday 15 August 2020. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, promoter, DJ agency and music news outlet.
Esta La Musica takes its name from the tattoo etched on Graham’s right arm while he was DJing in Los Angeles in the late 1990s. After leaving Kiss 100 and relocating to Southeast Asia, he used the phrase for a weekly show connected to his current club and radio activity.
Graham’s international profile first grew through his weekly broadcasts on London’s Kiss 100. He is also closely associated with Peach, the London club brand that became one of the defining platforms in his wider DJ career.
His grounding years as a DJ were spent in London, where he held a decade-long, six-nights-a-week residency at Gulliver’s Club in Mayfair. That role placed him firmly within the city’s club scene and gave him extensive experience with regular dancefloor programming.
His route into music began at the age of 17, when his love of Afrocentric music led him to start The Funky Road Show with Duncan Uren. The mobile disco became one of the most followed names in London’s West End and provided an early foundation for his later club and radio work.

By the age of 18, Graham was playing Black music five nights a week across the UK capital. His selections moved through Reggae, Soul, Disco and Jazz Funk, giving him a wide musical base before his later move into electronic music.
During the 1980s, Graham worked across several London pirate radio stations before joining the Radio London Soul Night Out team. He later hosted a Saturday-night Soul programme on Capital FM, receiving the station’s Broadcaster of the Year award in 1985.
Graham was involved with Kiss FM London from its early period, and his later Kiss 100 broadcasts helped bring his work to a global audience. He spent eight consecutive years in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs poll and was also listed by Dash among its most popular DJs in the world of all time.

The episode features music from AFFKT, Sascha Braemer, Dmitry Molosh, Interaxxis, Budakid, Edu Imbernon, Melawati, Tale Of Us, Fuenka, Giorgia Angiuli, CIOZ, Jono Stephenson, Sparrox and Paul Neary.
AFFKT opens with Poala in the Sascha Braemer remix on Sincopat, placing the programme inside Indie Dance. Dmitry Molosh then moves the episode into Progressive House with Elision on Sudbeat, followed by Interaxxis with Bowery on Replug.
Budakid’s Orrery on Watergate Records shifts the early section towards Melodic House and Techno. Edu Imbernon then adds Caliope S on Siamese, keeping the melodic direction in place before Sergey Muzarks returns the set to Progressive House with Time Flow.
Tripio X brings Magic Mushroom on Moan, introducing a Deep Tech House entry into the middle of the show. Melawati then moves the programme back into Melodic House and Techno with Daliah in the Tale Of Us remix on Ellum.
Graham Gold’s Snow After All appears as a promo, bringing his own production work into the episode. Fuenka then introduces Trance with Nevarro on JOOF, adding a deeper, hypnotic turn to the late section.
Giorgia Angiuli and CIOZ bring United in the Squ4re remix, returning the set to Melodic House and Techno. Jono Stephenson’s Elixir on Dear Deer and Sparrox’s Cracks on Flemcy keep the closing stretch in melodic club territory.
Paul Neary closes Esta La Musica 363 with Rays on Soupherb. The final track brings the episode back to Deep Tech House after a set built around melodic progression, progressive movement and a darker late-show finish.
