Graham Gold has made public the playlist for this edition of Esta La Musica on Scientific Sound Asia, originally aired on Saturday 20 June 2020. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an English-language Asian electronic music radio station, promoter, DJ agency and music news outlet for the region and international listeners.
Esta La Musica takes its name from a tattoo etched on Graham’s right arm while he was DJing in Los Angeles in the late 1990s. After leaving Kiss 100 and relocating to Southeast Asia, he used the phrase for a weekly show focused on Techno, House Music and related electronic styles.
Graham’s London years gave him a strong foundation in clubs, radio and specialist music culture. A decade-long, six-nights-a-week residency at Gulliver’s Club in Mayfair placed him at the centre of regular club programming before his wider international profile developed.
His earlier route into music began when his interest in Afrocentric music led him to co-found The Funky Road Show as a teenager. The mobile disco became a recognised name in West London and gave him an early platform for regular DJ work.
By the age of 18, Graham was playing Black music five nights a week across the UK capital. His selections moved through Reggae, Soul, Disco and Jazz Funk, building a broad base before his later association with House, Trance and Techno.

During the 1980s, Graham worked across London pirate radio before joining the Radio London Soul Night Out team. He later hosted a Saturday-night Soul programme on Capital FM, receiving the station’s Broadcaster of the Year award in 1985.
Graham was involved with Kiss FM London from its early period, and his later Kiss 100 broadcasts became central to his international profile. Alongside the Peach club brand, those shows helped connect his radio work with large club audiences and wider touring opportunities.
He spent eight consecutive years in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs poll and was later listed by Dash among its most popular DJs in the world of all time. His mix compilations have sold more than 700,000 copies and earned six BPI Gold and four Silver certifications.
Graham’s career has taken him to more than 150 cities across 43 countries. His appearances include Glastonbury, Homelands, Gatecrasher, God’s Kitchen, Passion, Slinky, Impulz, Earthdance, W.E.M.F., Summadayze and Street Parade in Zurich.
Now based in Asia, Graham continues to perform across the region and internationally while keeping Esta La Musica active as a weekly platform. The show presents music from labels and artists across Deep House, Progressive House, Melodic House and Techno, Tech House, Deep Tech, Organic House and Techno.

Satoshi Tomiie and Tuccillo open with Do It on Holic Trax, placing the programme inside Deep Tech House. Stiven Rivic, Michael & Levan then move the episode into Progressive House with Aftermath in the Kasey Taylor remix on Sprout.
&lez introduces Afro House with Issues in the Darbuka Mix on Visile. dOP then shifts the early section towards Indie Dance with Heart Signs in the Chaim remix on Eleatics.
Hannes Bieger and Juan Hansen bring Burn Your Love on Bedrock, moving the programme into Melodic House and Techno. Julian Bainbridge follows with Dimension Traveller on Sounds Over Seas, returning the set to Indie Dance.
Paul Sawyer’s Xenophon on Perfecto Black brings the tracklist back to Progressive House. Kiz Pattison and Micah Paul Lukasewich then add Fluque in the Robert Bell remix on Pangea, shifting the middle section into Melodic House and Techno.
Element 108 and Aaron Cullen’s A Girl Has No Name on JOOF, and Simon Sinfield’s Decadence on Krafted Underground keep the episode in Progressive House. D-Nox & Beckers then bring Bitter Rain on Beat Boutique, returning the late section to Melodic House and Techno.
Talking Machines and Nick Purple add Just For You in the Whirl remix on Dunkelheit, keeping the closing stretch in melodic club territory. Vakabular follows with Respive God on Skytop, giving the programme one more Progressive House entry.
Matt Darey and Lost Tribe introduce Trance with the original 1996 mix of Gamemaster on Armada Music Albums. Heerhorst, Basstrieb and Sascha then join Lazar (IT) for the final Redrum releases, closing Esta La Musica 357 across Peak Time Techno.
