After Hours 744 on Scientific Sound Asia sees Hypnotised return for another edition of the long-running series with guest DJ Olivier Weiter. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform, connecting underground artists and listeners across the region and internationally.
Hypnotised is a DJ, producer and label head from Ghent, Belgium whose sets are built around atmosphere, gradual progression and layered melodic development. His connection with underground electronic music was shaped through early appearances at events including I Love Techno and 10 Days of Techno, experiences that helped form an approach favouring depth and controlled momentum.
Over time, his musical direction moved increasingly towards deeper and more melodic Progressive House. His selections give individual tracks room to develop, with extended transitions and carefully managed changes in energy creating continuity across longer sets.
After Hours, co-hosted with PatriZe, has become one of the principal outlets for that approach. The programme reaches listeners through TM Radio in the USA, XBeat across Europe, Cosmos Radio in Germany and Scientific Sound Asia, connecting the series with audiences across several regions.
Hypnotised and PatriZe also present AH Digital Essentials on Proton Radio, where they showcase new material connected with the label and its wider artist network. Alongside that shared programme, Hypnotised hosts Energetic on Progressive Beats Radio, giving him another outlet for new and established producers.
Radio is closely connected with his wider activity as a selector, producer and label manager. Each platform gives him space to explore new music while maintaining the patient pacing and melodic focus that characterise his DJ work.
As co-founder and label manager of AH Digital, Hypnotised has helped develop an imprint centred on atmospheric and underground electronic music. The label supports both established producers and newer names while maintaining a clear identity built around depth, movement and dancefloor function.
His own studio work follows many of the same principles. Melody and rhythm are treated as equal parts of the arrangement, allowing tension and emotional detail to develop without weakening the forward motion of the track.
Recent work with PatriZe includes their remix of Weird Things on AH Digital. The collaboration reflects the musical relationship the pair have developed through production, radio and label activity.
Hypnotised has also reinterpreted Blissing for SINCITY and worked with Selected Grooves on Classico for OLD SQL Recordings. A further collaboration with Frank Savio on The Master of Time and Thoughts for COMET Records adds another strand to his current production output.
Across these projects, his focus remains on careful arrangement, restrained tension and gradual development. That same balance carries directly into After Hours, where the first hour is built to unfold steadily rather than chase immediate impact.
Episode 744 continues that long-running format with Olivier Weiter joining as the featured guest. Hypnotised opens the programme with a first-hour selection shaped by the deeper, patient approach that has become central to the series.

Guest DJ Olivier Weiter.
This week’s special guest is Olivier Weiter, a Dutch DJ and producer whose career has developed through the underground club culture of Amsterdam, Berlin and beyond. His early influences include the infamous GZG parties in Amsterdam, extended after-hours sessions and formative experiences in Berlin that helped shape his long-form approach behind the decks.
Olivier has since performed at clubs and festivals across Europe, South America, North America and Asia. His international appearances include dates in Canada, Brazil, Argentina, India and Mexico, alongside major European events such as Awakenings Festival, Loveland, Welcome to the Future, Tomorrowland, Time Warp NL and Cocoon.
He has also become closely associated with extended sets that allow him to build gradually over many hours. Performances at Wilde Renate, Katerblau and Sisyphos in Berlin have sat alongside all-day and all-night residencies at Thuishaven, De Marktkantine and Het Sieraad in Amsterdam.
His sold-out all-nighters at Paradiso became another important part of his reputation, while ten-hour sessions at The Other Side further demonstrated his preference for patient programming over short peak-time appearances. These longer formats give him space to change mood, intensity and direction without losing continuity across the set.
Alongside DJing, Olivier has built a substantial production catalogue and established his own WEITER imprint. His music has also appeared through labels including Armada, Einmusika, Steyoyoke, Purified and Katermukke, connecting his studio work with several respected international electronic music platforms.
Recent years have brought a steady run of collaborations with Forniva. Delusional appeared through Purified Records in 2025, followed by Neon Sky on Katermukke and Apollo on Einmusika Recordings, each extending the pair’s profile across different label environments.
Further material included Gravitas on Ame Records and Victoria on Steyoyoke, while In The Ocean with Veljko Jovic later received an Estiva remix. These releases demonstrate a continued emphasis on melody, tension and detailed arrangement without locking the project into one narrow production formula.
In 2026, Olivier and Forniva continued that momentum with Room 821 on Mango Alley. The track joined a catalogue that increasingly connects their studio work with the deeper and more progressive end of contemporary club music.
His Beatport profile reflects that continuing activity across original releases, collaborations and compilation appearances. Rather than separating his production work from his DJing, both sides of his career are built around gradual development, atmosphere and a strong sense of pacing.
Olivier Weiter’s reputation has therefore grown through more than headline appearances alone. Club residencies, marathon sessions, international touring, label activity and a consistent studio output have all contributed to his standing within the Dutch and wider European underground scene.
For his appearance on After Hours 744, Olivier Weiter joins the programme as this edition’s special guest. His contribution brings the perspective of an artist with extensive experience across clubs, festivals, long-form sets and international production work.
DJ Hypnotised opens the first hour with K Loveski's "5AM Friend", establishing the deep and measured Progressive House direction that dominates the episode. Gabbe (AR)'s remix of Rich Trelo and Sineforma follows before Tali Muss with 84 Avenue and RuKha's remix of Rauschhaus with Cary Crank continue the melodic progression.
Matías Delóngaro's remix of Gastón Sosa maintains the progressive flow before Sinan Arsan's edit of Trancesetters' "Roaches" provides the hour's only clear Tech House diversion. That change gives the middle of the set a more percussive edge before Greg Tomaz with ALPHA21 steer it back towards deeper progressive territory.
D-MICE's "Evolve" is followed by Samie Ur Rehman's remix of Samuel (LK) with RIDGE (LK), keeping the later stages focused on steady development rather than abrupt shifts. ALPHA21 then closes DJ Hypnotised's hour with "Where Silence Took Me", completing a first set built overwhelmingly around Progressive House.
Olivier Weiter takes control of the second hour with a guest mix centred on Progressive House, continuing the musical direction established by Hypnotised. No individual tracklist was supplied for this part of the programme, so the selections and artists are intentionally left unidentified rather than reconstructed or guessed.
The result is an episode with a particularly consistent Progressive House identity across both hours, with Hypnotised providing a fully documented opening selection and Weiter extending that approach in the guest session. A single Tech House entry adds contrast in the first hour, while the overall programme remains focused on deep, melodic and steadily developing progressive club music.
