Jstar returned with Control Tower 8 on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an Asian underground electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news outlet, connecting audiences across Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Asia and internationally.
Jstar is known for his work across Reggae, Dancehall and Hip Hop remixes. Originally from London, he has built a respected profile within the Reggae and Dub communities through more than 15 years as a DJ, remixer and producer.
His work has received support from figures including David Rodigan, Norman Jay and Grandmaster Flash. That recognition places his catalogue within a wider network of selectors, sound systems and bass-led music audiences.
Following the release of Stand To Order and Dub To Order, Jstar expanded his production activity with Reggae artists from emerging territories including China, India and New Zealand. His China tour added further context to his international work as both a DJ and producer.
