DJ Graham Gold presents episode 610 of Esta La Musica on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform, connecting underground artists and listeners across the region and internationally.
A British DJ with more than four decades behind the decks, Graham has built a career spanning radio, clubs, festivals, production and international touring. His current sets draw from House, Progressive House, Melodic Techno and deeper club music while reflecting the adaptability developed throughout his long career.
Graham appeared in DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs for eight consecutive years, helping establish his international profile during an important period for global club culture. His reputation grew further through London's Peach club nights and a long-running residency on Kiss 100 FM, where his broadcasts reached audiences well beyond the UK.
His career began much earlier within London's club scene, including a decade at Gulliver's in Mayfair during the 1970s and 1980s. During this period, he also developed The Funky Road Show with Duncan Uren, bringing Reggae, Soul, Disco and Jazz-Funk to dancefloors across the city.
Radio became another major part of Graham's development through his involvement with pirate broadcasting before he later joined Capital FM. His work there earned him the Broadcaster of the Year award in 1985 and strengthened the connection between his DJ career and broadcasting.

His international career eventually took him to more than 150 cities across over 40 countries. Performances at Glastonbury Festival, Gatecrasher, God's Kitchen and Street Parade form part of a touring history that has covered several generations of electronic music.
Graham's compilation work also reached a substantial audience, with more than 700,000 albums sold and multiple BPI certifications. Alongside club appearances and radio, these releases helped extend his profile across the wider electronic music industry.
As a producer, broadcaster and selector, Graham Gold continues to use Esta La Musica as an outlet for both established artists and newer producers. The programme's title was inspired by a tattoo he received during a US tour in the 1990s, giving the series a personal connection with his long history in music.
Now based in Thailand, Graham remains active across the Asian electronic music scene while continuing to perform internationally. His appearances have included Bangkok, Pattaya and Koh Phangan, alongside his continued connection with London through Peach.
Esta La Musica 610 continues the long-running series with another selection shaped by Graham's experience across clubs, radio and international touring. The programme gives him space to combine current underground releases with the pacing, musical judgement and dancefloor awareness developed throughout his career.
DJ Graham Gold opens Esta La Musica 609 with IPI's The Windy City, establishing a Deep House foundation before Ippolo introduces the warmer textures of Organic House. Cup & String return the set to Deep House with Forever, while Sean Harvey's Bring It Out provides the first Progressive House turn.
Maxim Lany, Vanita and Sam Holland then build a sustained Melodic House and Techno sequence through Ghosts, Slowly and The Chant. E.T.C and Cassiopeia briefly restore the deeper house groove before Gama-Bautista and Sam Supplier with Rob Gritton introduce a firmer Tech House pulse.
Jaytech's La Presencia brings the programme back towards its melodic centre before Kyle Icardi adds the only straight House Music selection with Can't Stop. Pablo Say and Helang then continue the melodic progression through Dreams and ADHD, giving the latter part of the episode a more expansive club character.
Jast raises the pressure with the episode's sole peak-time driving Techno selection, Dancin, before Carl Bee closes with Insane on Siona. Across Episode 609, Melodic House and Techno forms the strongest thread, while Deep House, Tech House and Progressive House provide repeated changes of pace around it.
