Mexican producer and DJ Muuk to perform third show Friday morning

Mexican DJ and producer Muuk’ has published the playlist for his second show on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an underground electronic music radio station for China, Vietnam, Malaysia and the rest of Asia, alongside its work as a DJ agency, promoter and music news outlet.

Muuk’ is a Mexican DJ and producer from Mexico City, where he is currently based. His work as a DJ and producer began in 2014 after studying at Monnrom Academy, where he trained in music production, vinyl DJing, electronic DJ equipment and music software.

After developing his production skills, Muuk’ began releasing music through labels including PL7, Traum Techno and Twisted Freud. That experience with the label side of the industry later led him to launch Mechanic and Tropic, his own Mexico City-based imprint.

He performs regularly in Mexico City and has also appeared at festivals across Mexico, including Yolotl Festival. His regional activity has taken him beyond Mexico, including a 2018 performance at Paradise VIP Club in Costa Rica.

Muuk' guest show episode 03 moves through Melodic House and Techno, Progressive House, Organic House, Deep House and Indie Dance. Xiasou, George Ledakis and Lorraine open with Evince, placing the early section inside Melodic House and Techno through its melodic house release context and vocal-led arrangement.

Ceas follows with Eden from Purified Spectrum, matching Purified Records’ strong Melodic House and Techno catalogue identity. Monophase (IT)’s Unconscious keeps the opening section darker and more synthetic, drawing from the Italian duo’s melodic techno and atmospheric production profile.

Danique and ANTON%F move the set into Progressive House with the ANTON%F remix of Goa Dreams. Fractal Architect’s Calliope in the Ras Algethi remix then returns the mix to Melodic House and Techno through its confirmed Beatport listing.

Neptun 505’s Mirage keeps the sound deep and progressive before Cazap and Boskis introduce Organic House with Guru Of Brahman. Emiliano Demarco’s Forgotten Days and Iulianus’ Psalms then move the programme back towards deeper Progressive House structures.

Basil O'Glue’s Everyone Has A Story appears in the Gai Barone remix, adding a progressive and deep house reference supported by the remix release listing. Paul Anthonee’s Arkham then turns the set towards a heavier Melodic House and Techno frame with a darker club atmosphere.

ATTLAS’ Concussion continues the melodic techno direction, using his established electronic and melodic production style to sharpen the middle section. Canato’s Prodigiosa and Mr. Bizz’s Magenta keep the set in a firm Melodic House and Techno lane, with the latter drawing on Mr. Bizz’s deeper techno background.

Behind Creation’s Oblivion extends the melodic pressure before the collaborative Open Your Eyes brings MOG, Thayanna Valle, Behind Creation and Kaj Vardinghus into the sequence. The track keeps the central section vocal, atmospheric and tightly linked to the wider Melodic House and Techno sound.

Mila Journée’s Gravity continues that line through her melodic techno-centred catalogue. Zac and Who Else then follow with Game Of Love, keeping the rhythm direct and melodic before Eleonora and Erly Tepshi’s Timeless appears in the Opposite Ways remix.

Colyn’s Protect Me brings an Afterlife-linked Melodic House and Techno track into the late section, giving the set one of its clearest genre anchors. Mollono.Bass and Get Well Soon then shift into Indie Dance with Funny Treats in the Mollono.Bass remix.

Alfa Romero’s Long Time Running returns to Progressive House, adding a steadier and more expansive club sound after the Indie Dance turn. Soul Button and Monarke’s Passage then moves back into Melodic House and Techno through Steyoyoke’s ethereal techno identity and the artists’ deep melodic sound.

Modeplex’s Foreverness keeps the closing section inside Melodic House and Techno, using a polished and synth-led arrangement. Ras Algethi’s Cirque then returns the set to Progressive House before Ry and Frank Wiedemann’s Howling in the Âme remix introduces Deep House through Innervisions’ original Bandcamp genre tags.

Baset closes the episode with Oceana, ending on an Organic House selection after the deeper late-stage sequence. Muuk' guest show episode 03 moves from melodic and progressive opening tracks into darker club material, then closes through Indie Dance, Deep House and organic rhythm.
