Bicycle Corporation have shared the playlist for episode 113 of their Foundations series on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, while also publishing music news and connecting audiences across the region and internationally.

Bicycle Corporation is the collaboration between Italian DJ and producer Marco Mei and classically trained musician Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. Together, they have released more than fifty productions across French House, Deep House, Tech House and Techno, combining dancefloor energy with musical depth and a clear underground perspective.

Marco Mei’s journey began in the early 1990s within Italy’s developing house and techno movement. As part of the Urban People collective, hosting events, he became known for his technically refined DJ sets, leading to international bookings across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Growing up in Torino, Stefano built his musical foundation with classical piano, percussion, and drums. Influenced by European traditions and global rhythms like the West African djembe, his understanding of structure and composition eventually evolved into electronic production.

Their mutual passion for rhythm, sound design, and experimentation resulted in the creation of Bicycle Corporation. This project embodies a harmony between Marco's club-focused expertise and Stefano's musical education, culminating in a sound characterized by both functionality and intricacy.

Since forming, the duo have established a consistent presence within the underground, releasing on labels including Alchemy, Suka Records, Miniatures, WL77 and GrooveTraxx. Their catalogue reflects a steady evolution across house and techno, with early works now available through their Bandcamp page.

In "Foundations," Marco and Stefano persist in delving into various electronic styles while staying true to their origins. Episode 113 follows this path, offering a mix that combines deep grooves, melodic components, and the fundamental traits of house and techno that characterize their sound.

Red Axes and Man Parrish featuring Roy Garrett open the session with Hot Rod To Hell And Back, immediately setting a darker Minimal and Deep Tech atmosphere before Lupe’s Release It and Loofy with Nicky G’s You The One introduce warmer House and Tech House grooves. Tensnake and Gerd Janson continue the flowing club energy through Push, balancing classic House influences with modern underground production.

Gunnter’s Distraction and Andre Zimmer’s Simpli-City deepen the House direction before Greggio’s Up In My Sights introduces Indie Dance textures and rolling melodic rhythms. Hard Ton and Amy Douglas alongside Sylvio B continue this crossover atmosphere through Fill The Hours and It’s Not Over, blending underground House energy with electronic disco influences.

The middle section develops through Paul Kalkbrenner’s collaboration with Depeche Mode on Dreaming On, adding a cinematic Melodic House and Techno atmosphere. Laurent Garnier follows with Back Where I Belong (Solaris Mix), bringing deeper Electronic textures into the session, while Robag Wruhme maintains the hypnotic melodic flow through Ratibor Numida.

Jazzanova, Zakes Bantwini and Moodorama shift the energy toward Afro House/Melodic territory with In The Morning, introducing warmer percussive grooves before Josh Gigante and Joyce Muniz with Futuradora return the focus to Indie Dance through Sensation and Hack The System. Ketiov and Edvvin continue the underground House direction with Extravaganza.

The closing section moves through Paranoid London’s Talk Dirty, bringing raw Deep House textures into the mix before R.S.H.’s Bumrush The Dream revisits classic House influences. Rayan Woods maintains the Indie Dance atmosphere with Laugh And Play before Recut’s Acid Street introduces Acid House energy. Plus 2 closes the episode with Involved, ending the session with a groove-led Tech House finish.
