Guest DJ Allan McLoud.
This week's guest DJ is Allan McLoud, also known as Scottish-born DJ and producer Allan Michie. Allan was exposed to music from a young age and learned to play different instruments.
He even dismantled guitar amps to understand how they worked. In the late 80s, he began producing Jazz-influenced Hip-Hop using a Commodore C64 and Amiga 500 with self-built interfaces.
However, he soon developed an interest in electronic music after being captivated by the sounds of 80s synth music. Allan then started making breakbeat before discovering the early acid sound and finally found his passion for producing trance, which was influenced by the Dorian Gray sound of the time.
He then started DJing in clubs in North Germany and built a reputation for himself before deciding to move to the Stuttgart area. Here, he began doing studio work for Unsubmissive Records.
Over the years, Allan has released a plethora of music on several labels such as Technoclub & Future Records, which were championed by top DJs worldwide. In recent years, he has been on a mission to create more outstanding music for our listening pleasure.
He has released Progressive House tracks on labels such as Bonzai Progressive, J00F Aura, Landscapes Music, Droid9, LuPS, and Forescape Digital. Additionally, he has released on the newly founded charity label, ShinyPeople.
