Cali’s HouseNation Radio returns with another edition hosted by Nocturne of Digital Audio Kingz, this time featuring guest DJs Dylan Serna and SeaBass on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform, connecting underground artists and listeners across the region and internationally.
Originally from Los Angeles and now based in San Diego, Nocturne began DJing in 2007 under the name DJ Turiz. His early years were shaped by Reggaeton, Hip Hop and Latin styles including Bachata, Merengue, Salsa and Cumbia, giving him experience across a wide range of Southern California dancefloors.
That broad foundation helped develop his understanding of rhythm, programming and how different audiences respond to music. Rather than beginning within one narrow club scene, his early career exposed him to several musical communities before electronic music became his primary focus.
In 2013, Nocturne increasingly turned towards electronic music and began exploring House and deeper underground material. During this period, he co-founded Digital Audio Kingz with DJ MORE and expanded into FM radio, providing another platform for developing his selections and reaching new listeners.
The Nocturne project followed in 2018 alongside the launch of Cali’s HouseNation Radio. What began as a dedicated dance music programme later expanded through the CHNR Syndication Network, connecting the show with stations and listeners beyond its original California audience.
Broadcasting has since become central to Nocturne’s work as a DJ and curator. The longer radio format allows him to concentrate on structure and pacing while providing space for both established artists and emerging producers.
Alongside Cali’s HouseNation Radio, he presents On the Deep End and Deep House Sessions through DAK Music. These programmes give him separate outlets for the deeper and more melodic areas of his collection without limiting the broader identity of his main show.
His work remains closely connected with both Los Angeles and San Diego despite the international reach of his broadcasts. Years of experience across different musical environments continue to inform the way he approaches programming, guest selection and the wider development of the CHNR platform.
Cali’s HouseNation Radio has also become a regular space for guest DJs to introduce their own perspective. Rather than imposing a fixed sound on every edition, the format gives visiting artists room to represent their individual backgrounds and styles.
This edition continues that approach with Dylan Serna and SeaBass joining Nocturne as the featured guests. Their contribution adds another perspective to a series built around contemporary club music, broadcasting and connections between artists working across different scenes.

This week’s guests on Cali’s HouseNation Radio are Dylan Serna and SeaBass, both raised in Bogotá, Colombia. Growing up surrounded by the rich and diverse rhythms of their homeland, they were drawn to the power of music and its ability to bring people together from a young age. This early exposure to Colombia’s unique soundscape, filled with Latin grooves and tribal percussion, played a significant role in shaping their artistic identities.
Relocating to Los Angeles, the duo quickly carved a place for themselves within the city’s underground scene. Known for their dynamic back-to-back sets, they bring an energy that blends strong Latin influence with deep, underground house and techno flavours. Their sound stands out for its raw yet refined approach, layering traditional percussion with contemporary club elements, always keeping the dancefloor moving.
Performances across the LA circuit have seen them connect with a growing community of music lovers who recognise the authenticity and passion at the core of their sets. Each appearance showcases their ability to weave their Colombian roots into global underground culture, bridging continents through rhythm and flow.
Now, with their reach extending beyond Los Angeles, Dylan Serna and SeaBass continue to share their vision on international platforms. As DJs, collaborators, and cultural ambassadors, they remain committed to celebrating the sounds of their heritage while embracing the innovation of the underground electronic movement. Their sets are not only about music but also about identity, expression, and the unifying force of the dancefloor.
Episode 288 begins with DJ Nocturne showcasing deep house selections such as Climbers & Rossell’s Inside Out and Sebb Junior’s My Luv 4 U. Kerri Chandler & Jerome Sydenham’s Atmospheric Beats and Q Narongwate’s 90’s piano-driven Paradise add house authenticity before Low Steppa’s Stand By Me closes the warm-up.
The set quickly transitions into tech house with Leftwing : Kody’s Torus, followed by Elegant Hands & Calego’s The Weekend and Kofla’s Las Islas. Chuwe’s Esa Nena and Lucasmb’s Like A Freak heighten the energy, with Carlos Agraz’s Prendeh and Diego Sosa’s Latino leaning into Latin-inspired grooves.
Sebastian Ledher & Billy Sherif’s El Cairo and Lomiiel’s Hay Lupita showcase hypnotic tech house cuts, paving the way for Latin Tech fusions like Pasto Y Perico and Aguardiente. River Ocean’s Love & Happiness featuring India provides an Afro-Latin flourish, closing Nocturne’s hour with soulful resonance.
Dylan Serna and SeaBass take over with Crewcutz’s Bongo Lessons, steering into minimal deep tech before Jairo Delli, Harvy Valencia, and Angel Heredia deliver peak-time tech house. Collaborations like Dominicana and Pikante highlight Latin Tech and minimal innovation, while Jungle Jack & Gameroloco’s Que Será closes the episode with vibrant Latin-inspired rhythms, uniting tech house, deep house, afro house, and minimal styles into a cohesive showcase.
