PatriZe hosts another edition of After Hours on Scientific Sound Asia, with Jack Lazarus joining the programme as the featured guest. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform, connecting underground artists and listeners across the region and internationally.
PatriZe is a Belgian DJ, producer, radio host and label head based in Thailand. His early musical interests centred on Trance and Techno before gradually developing towards the deeper and more melodic side of Progressive House.
A significant point in his career came in 2010 through his connection with Pole Folder of Bedrock Records and Reworck. He later won the Night Museum DJ competition in France, which gave him the opportunity to open for Guy J and strengthened his profile within the progressive scene.
Over time, PatriZe developed a style built around long blends, controlled pacing and carefully layered melodies. His selections often carry subtle tech influences, but the emphasis remains on flow, depth and gradual development.
Radio has become an important part of his work alongside club performances and production. He hosts both After Hours and Foundations, using the programmes to present established artists, emerging producers and new underground music from around the world.
His broadcasting activity has also extended to guest appearances on international stations. These programmes give him space to support artists and records outside the commercial mainstream while developing longer-form musical ideas away from the limitations of a conventional club set.
In 2015, PatriZe co-founded AH Digital with long-time collaborator Hypnotised. The label was created as a platform for deeper electronic music while giving both artists a direct outlet for their own productions and a growing international roster.
Their early People from the Otherworld project reached number four on Beatport’s Progressive House releases chart and entered the top twenty of the Techno and Tech House release charts. The title track was later remixed by Rui Da Silva, bringing further international attention to the label.
AH Digital has since become central to PatriZe’s work as a producer, curator and label head. Through the imprint, he continues to support new music, discover emerging artists and maintain close links with the wider underground scene.
Based in Thailand, PatriZe has also remained active within the local club community through performances around Pattaya and Jomtien. Venues including Beachspot and Thai Lounge & Terrace have provided regular settings for his deeper and more progressive selections.
His production work continues alongside radio, label activity and live appearances. That combination keeps him closely connected with both the creative and curatorial sides of electronic music.
After Hours remains one of the main outlets for that work, pairing PatriZe’s own first-hour selections with guest DJs from the international underground. This edition continues that format with Jack Lazarus taking over for the guest section and bringing another perspective to the programme.

Guest DJ Jack Lazarus.
This week’s featured guest is Jack Lazarus, a DJ and producer from Stafford in the United Kingdom. His work developed through the progressive scene, with a production style built around melody, atmosphere and steady rhythmic movement.
An early breakthrough came through a release on Stellar Fountain, which helped introduce his music to a wider underground audience. That first step led to further work with labels including Music4Clubbers, Dynamica and Balkan Connection, where his In The Mountains EP became part of his developing catalogue.
Jack’s productions initially became known for combining deep melodic elements with driving progressive structure. As his catalogue expanded, that foundation developed into a broader sound that also embraced Organic House and Melodic House & Techno without losing the emphasis on long-form musical progression.
His later work demonstrates how significantly that catalogue has grown. The Welcome to Arcadia project on Into The Myst includes tracks such as Welcome to Arcadia, Beyond the Stars, Green Frequency, Equinox Pt.I, Equinox Pt.II, Feel Like, Stay in the Dark, Supernova, Piece of Me, Solstice and Zen.
The project also includes Bluebird featuring Luciano Ledesma, The One featuring okafuwa and Thank You, for Everything. Together, the release shows a much broader body of work than the early profile built around a relatively small number of singles and remixes.
Further material includes Fall For You on Sekora and Deeper Waters through Blue Magenta. These releases continue the melodic side of his production work while showing how his sound has widened across different labels and formats.
Jack has also remained active as a remixer. His interpretation of Second Sine and Fonarev’s Shooting Stars appeared through RKP in 2026, adding another recent release to a catalogue that now extends well beyond his earlier work.
His SoundCloud reflects that continued development across original productions, remixes and DJ material. Rather than remaining fixed to one formula, his work has gradually expanded while keeping melody and atmosphere at the centre.
For his appearance on After Hours, Jack Lazarus brings that evolving UK production background into the guest section of the programme. His contribution adds another perspective to the series through a style shaped by detailed arrangement, progressive structure and a steadily growing international release catalogue.
PatriZe opens the first hour of After Hours 435 with Mariner + Domingo's remix of Esteban Ikasovic's "Dreamcatcher", introducing a Deep House foundation before Soulfinder with Silinder turn the set towards Progressive House with "Horizon". Silinder's remix of Liam Sieker and Francisco Castro's "Roots" extend that progressive direction, establishing the patient melodic development that shapes most of the episode.
TEELCO's remix of Kevin Vega keeps the momentum controlled before Teelco's own "Shimizu" provides a second Deep House diversion in the middle of PatriZe's hour. Esteban Ikasovic then returns with "Earth Revelations", followed by Adelphos, Mariner + Domingo in the Weird Sounding Dude remix and Michael A's "Chrystal" for a sustained Progressive House finish.
Jack Lazarus begins the second hour with Juan Ibanez's "The Eagle Departure" before Leo Perez with Dhany G and Max Blade continue the Progressive House focus without changing direction. Fabri Lopez's remix of Jonathan Reyes and Gabriel Filip then leads into Kamilo Sanclemente's treatment of SpeakOf, adding extra melodic pressure while preserving the long-form flow.
The Wash remix of Integral Breed and NOIYSE PROJECT's remix of Ricardo Piedra carry the middle of the guest set into increasingly deep progressive territory. Dmitry Molosh's "Nemesis" on Sudbeat then provides one of the strongest late-set selections, followed by Kamilo Sanclemente with Dabeat's remix of TH;EN's "Balance" on Mango Alley.
Andre Monet and Eric Lune keep the final stretch firmly rooted in Progressive House before Eran Aviner and Hermanez close the episode with their remix of Matias Vila's "Ahora". Across Episode 435, the two-hour programme is overwhelmingly Progressive House, with PatriZe's two Deep House selections providing the only substantial stylistic variation before Jack Lazarus delivers an entirely progressive second hour.
